Here for your consideration, we are offering a superb Martin 2K ukulele, made in the golden age .Top , back and sides are made of beautiful and highly flamed Koa wood. As Uke fans know, this high end Koa was scarce in the 20\'s, and next to impossible to get now. Koa only comes from Hawaii.This gorgeous instrument was made from 1922-1927, dating it by these particular Grover simplex tuners.The top is made of Koa, and nicely double bound.The scale length is 13 5/8\".The frets are invery good, playable condition, showing a teeny amount of playwear in the 1st position.As always , we suggest taking this instrument to your favorite Luthier for action and intonation setup to suit your personal taste.There is no internal serial number which is normal for this era of Martin ukes.There is a short top crack near the treble side of the bridge.It is tight but I doubt that it has been cleated.There is a crack where the top joins the side at the butt of the uke.There are two very short back cracks that are difficult to see.They have not been cleated. Overall the instrument is highly playable and sounds wonderful.A90 year old, it is a remarkable and highly desireable instrument.This instrument was made in Nazareth, Pa. from 1922 - 1927. in the golden age of the Martin Ukulele.The neck is straight and it plays great. It certainly does need a new set of strings!Has no case but it will be VERY well packed for shipping.Please scroll down and look at all the pictures and read our policies
