Up for consideration is a 1945 Hornet ignition tether car - airplane engine with a .607 in spark. This engine came from my father's estate and has been sitting in a drawer since he bought it on three years ago. It is in excellent condition and compression a beautiful example of the Hornet 60. It was manufactured by Victory Tool and Die corp in 1945. The serial number is stamped on mounting lug reads V3363. The Hornet 60 was a very popular racing engine for tether car racing and control line speed racing around the WWII era. This engine is very clean overall and is sold AS-IS. It would make a great addition to any vintage model engine collection!
