18\" Ideal Composition Baby Doll Flirty Eyes Original ? Gown & Bonnet 18\" Ideal Composition Baby Doll Flirty Eyes Original ? Gown & Bonnet Offered here is an Ideal composition baby doll with flirty eyes, dressed in a beautiful gown and bonnet that may be original.  If not, certainly from the period.  This little cutie is 18\" long with molded brown hair, cloth torso, with compo legs and arms.  She\'s marked on the back of the head Ideal.  Her sleep eyes also will move to the left and right for that \"flirty\" look.  She\'s in nice condition, with a few defects:  there\'s a short paint crack on the outside of the left eye, a small paint crack on the left forehead, a few small scuffs, and the lip paint shows wear.  As with most dolls from this period, the eyes have crackled.  On the head there\'s a small paint chip on the left side above the ear and paint wear mostly to the back of the head.  All the compo has some very light crazing, but the finish is still glossy.  The fingers have rubs to the tips;  the left leg has some heavier crazing with the beginning of lifting along the inside seam; the right leg also has crazing with lifting along the seam, and the front of the foot looks like it was broken and glued back on.  The underclothing looks to be replaced, not as old.  The gown in nice but does have 1 tiny pinhead size hole, and the ties on the bonnet are quite worn, and may need to be replaced.   Really a darling baby.  Any questions, please feel free to ask.
