This is an 18th-century silver verge fusee pocket watch, made by William North of London. The watch is hallmarked for London 1763, decorated with early square pillars and an elaborate cock plate. The dial appears original, though has cracked enamel. The hands appear to be of gilt brass. The movement is not working, the fusee chain is off but intact. The watch is sold for spare or repairs.
