Click to View Image Album Great vintage NFL pro football program up for offer. It is a program from the September 16, 1943 game - Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles/Pittsburgh Steelers - The STEAGLES played at Shibe Park.
RARE program as this was the only year for the Steagles. The teams had been combined due to WW II roster shortages.
Pictured for the Bears are Hall of Famers Bulldog Turner, George Muzzo, Danny Fortmann and Sid Luckman.
The program pretty heavy corner wear - vertical wrinkling down the right side of the program - hard to discern vertical fold - a couple of minor wrinkles in the middle - a few fairly minor cover stains (top middle and center areas).
The lineup insert is securely attached and unmarked (two minor stains).
The Bears went on to win the NFL Title.
