for this Holy Grail of Japanese tin. I want to point out a couple of flaws on this beautiful tin Continental, the hub caps are not bright and crisp like the rest of the car, and the battery box has some spider webbing on one end (see photo). The rest of the car is exceptional! The friction works smooth and has working lights front and rear with switch on bottom base. You can see in photos the lights are on. All the trim is bright and rust free. The older restoration matches the original maroon color almost exactly. The base is all original paint and no rust or scuffs. All 4 rubber tires are excellent with no nicks or cuts. Interior is bright and crisp plus this the only Japanese tin toy to have an inside hanging rear view mirror. The hood ornament is a very nice metal replacement. Check out the close up photos of the front and rear Continental name plates, hard to find them any sharper than these!
