1960 PHILCO PREDICTACONTINENTAL IN WORKING ORDER!
This is a relisting after a buyer defaulted on payment. This is Philco\'s original mahogany model 4730 known as the\"Continental\", \"Danish Modern\", or \"The Rocket\".This was the last Predicta swivel screen television set, built by Philco in1960. The Continental is the rarest, mostupscale and most collectible model, especially this mahogany version (it alsocame in walnut). The designers no doubt were inspired also by the current spacerace started 1957 by Sputnik, world\'s first artificial satellite. TheContinental combines the larger 21\" screen that was used for the Holidaymodel, with the much more reliable transformer equipped chassis, that was usedin the Princess models. Television is in working order and overall very goodcondition. I am going to include the RF modulator, cables, and VCR/DVD player to play videos on the television.
