Its from 2015, and “newish” because I haven’t used it much yet until recently when I was checking it out to see how it works and what it can do before posting it… I downloaded Chrome onto it, only because since the O.S. is from 2015 which in not even that long ago in the FIRST place, but apple now makes a new OS every few months just so you go out and spend $2000 dollars every couple months on a new laptop. PASS. No thanks. So… either way, I downloaded Chrome so you can use chrome cast in 2023 to cast tabs and view movies when streaming, but I can’t guarantee or confirm that any other programs uploaded onto this mac will work. I only bought it due to the very fast (which it is) speed of 8gb ram, in order to stream movies.. I bought it as a store return / open box from either Best Buy or Micro Center- I can’t remember, but I hadn’t even opened it up or powered it up until just recently. The store sticker is still on there in fact. You can see in the pics. It’s in near mint condition, with the exception of two things: the bottom silver metal coloring on the edge, has scratches (seen in close up pics) at the borders, from just lying around, and there appears to be a light fading / spotting of the screen in one area. SEE LAST PIC (of the white “dot”) all else is clear and good to go. Keyboard works, sound works, and camera works as it should. The battery holds a charge for DAYS, if not weeks without being plugged in. There is a charger for it.

You can see everything is recent and working in the pics from the recent coverage of the Israeli Palestinian war coverage on YouTube. The power in the camera is at 67% or so, but it is since powered back up to 100%. See last pic.
