For your consideration at this wonderful sale is a rare and vintage collectible Apple Macintosh Quadra 840av tower system. Apple model M9020. The 15\" color monitor display is NOT included. The case is shown in the photos in very good condition. The machine was tested, and works great. Mac OS 8.1 is newly installed on the roomy and spacious internal hard disk drive. There is one internal 300GB SCSI hard drive, with Mac OS 8.1 installed on the drive. Includes 1 internal Apple SCSI 2x SCSI CD-ROM drive with tray loading mechanism, it is tested working. Internal 1.44MB Apple FDHD SuperDrive is tested working. On the logic board is a Motorola 68040 Class Processor at 40Mhz, 128MB of RAM installed. On-board video port is present for support for up to 24-bit video in millions of colors (2MB of VRAM is the maximum amount of video memory that can be installed), and there are NUBUS slots for video cards. Standard Apple ports such as SCSI, Serial, ADB, stereo Audio-in, stereo Audio-out are on the logic board. Logic board has 3 NUBUS expansion slots. There is a vacant for a PRAM battery on the logic board, and needs to be replaced at the discretion of the new owner. Quadra 840av will include 1 Apple standard AppleDesign keyboard and 1 Apple Desktop Bus II mouse, with 1 power cable, and 1 ethernet cable and 1 AAUI-to-10baseT communications adapter. The 15\" color monitor display is NOT included, it is only shown in the photos for demonstration purposes to prove that the Quadra 840av tower is functioning and working. No other accessories nor software disks are included with this system. Quadra 840av tower will be well-wrapped when packed and shipped due to its collectible status and potential value for existing components.
