This listing is for one used HP Compaq Presario F500 laptop (part # gf596ua#aba) with a power adapter but no battery. It comes with a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. It is being sold as-is, no returns, for parts/repair due to reasons noted below.

Note that:

1. I received this laptop from someone at my workplace. Since I am the \"I.T.\" guy with years of experience, many people who know me come to me for computer help and sometimes give me equipment to sell for them.
2. I did a clean install of Windows 10 off a DVD and tested one of the USB ports and Ethernet port, but did not test the remaining (less commonly used) ports, so I cannot guarantee these function properly.
3. The owner told me he upgraded it over time from Windows Vista to Windows 7, and then later to Windows 10. However, from what I could find online, HP did not support anything other than Vista on the laptop, so running Windows 10 is at your own risk, although it does seem to run it OK and it was able to download and install all updates.
4. The owner told me the wireless functionality stopped working on the laptop a few years ago, so he used a USB wifi adapter (not included) for his wifi connection.
5. The casing has scratches and scuffs as show in the pictures. There are 3 small imperfections on the screen, most noticeable on light backgrounds, as shown in the pictures.
6. An AC power adapter is included. A battery is not included. Discs with Windows and hardware drivers are included.
7. The built-in CMOS BIOS battery that keeps the date/time is weak, and since no regular laptop battery is included, if the laptop is disconnected from the AC power, it begins to loose the date/time and may need to be set manually in the BIOS or Windows. A simple fix here would be to buy a laptop battery (I saw a new one listed for under 20) or replace the internal CMOS BIOS battery.
8. The laptop is out of the manufacturer\'s warranty, and due to the above reasons, the laptop is being sold as-is, with no returns accepted.
