Vintage Sony 11-pin cable from the 1970s. Approximately 16-feet. Audio/Video Use
Price: US $24.95
One of the uses of this item was to extend the length of the Sony RM-16 Remote Control that was used with the classic Sony TC-850 audio recorder/player (one of the best tape decks Sony ever made). (See the last photo showing the back of the RM-16 to see the connector that this cable extended). In a recording studio, you could have the deck in another room, and operate it from the soundproof studio area. It probably had other uses by Sony also, but I can’t find any info. I also can’t find a model number. This cable worked when I last used it (decades ago). The connectors look very good with none of the pins bent or out of shape. The cable part is very discolored from age, but it’s cosmetic only. This listing is for the cable only. The photos of the RM-16 and the TC-850 are for illustrating how the cable was used. Please see all the photos that will show exactly what you get and are part of this description. As with most original vintage items, it's not possible to offer a guarantee
