Listed isone of the most elusive species of duck decoyfound in the Upper Bay area of the Chesapeake Bay...the green wing teal. Every once is a while a blue or green wing teal hits the market. This one has been in my father\'s collection for decades. There was a tag the read \"George Wash Barnes, Carpenters Point\" on the decoy, but I\'m not so sure I agree with that attribution. I\' unsure who the maker is, but Barnes decoys usually have a small neck shelf, and this one has none. I see some Lockard, but not enough to pin that name on it. I actually think it looks most like a Jim Holly decoy. It is in old working paint and I believe some of the wing bar paint to be original, but that\'s about it.This is a GREATUpper Bay decoy.
