Up for sale is a very seldom seen Alps 1959 Plymouth 4-door hardtop friction tin toy car. Toy measures 11 inches in length. It is in excellent condition overall. Blue and white paint retains much of its original luster. Chrome is all intact with good shine...no corrosion. There is a small ding/chip in the left front fender. There are a couple of small, very shallow dents on the roof. There is a small area about the size of a thumbprint on the blue paint on the trunk that is a dulled from thread rust in this area. Base plate does have scratches from play, but still has a decent shine. Friction works but it is stiff. Brightly colored litho interior is excellent as are the blue-tinted plastic windows front and back. With exception of a small scuff on the right rear hubcap, they are perfect. Toy displays beautifully and is a hard to finned Mopar in tin from the Forward Look era. Please look over the photos carefully and ask any questions before you offer. Good luck & thanks for looking.
