ancient native Anasazi Indian artifact bowl circa 1000 A.D. from New Mexico
Price: US $105.00
AT sale is an authentic Anasazi Indian black-on-white bowl that dates circa 1000 A.D. This original pottery bowl is approximately 5 inches wide and 2.5 inches tall, and has been carefully reassembled from ancient broken shards as shown, with no restoration. The New Mexico seller that I acquired it from kindly provided me with its provenance, indicating that it was found on the ranch of the late Frank Tatsch near Silver City, New Mexico in the 1960s-early 70s. The Anasazi civilisation is famous for their remarkable cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde and Chaco Canyon. Here is an opportunity to own an authentic piece of Native American pottery from the ancient Southwest. I have not owned it long, but am re-offering it now after having over-bought early this year. A good opportunity for collectors of American Indian art. Buyer pays $10 shipping. Thanks for your interest.
