Royal Worcester produced this fine 9-inch vase in 1890, denoted by the lower-case \"a\" beneath the circle on the base. The base also apparently bears the initials of the artist, who bejeweled the center of several of the blue flowers for extra measure. This example turned up no chips, cracks, crazing or other problem when subjected to both a visual inspection and the Braille method. While no expert on the maker, I\'ve noticed that the eagle-handled motif seems unusual. The hand-painted blue and gilded design shows no wear that I can discern.
I\'ll double-box and ship this for $9.50 and I combine shipping in favor of the buyer. This vase comes from the estate of my 90-year-old aunt whose possessions I\'m charged with sending out into the world. Please check back as I unwrap and offer her other treasures before Christmas.
