This crock is in Excellent Condition with some slight surfacechips to the outer base rim and 1 slight surface chip to the base.There are no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. There is slight manufactured roughness. We guarantee 100% you will bemore than happy with the excellent condition of this crock. The crock measures 13\" tall x 5 5/8\" at the top rim x 10 1/4\" wide x 7 1/2\" at the base and weighs approximately 10lb 4oz. The crock features a wonderful early ovoid form with heavy thickupsweeping applied handles and a hand tooled top rim with incised borderinglines around the shoulder and just above the base. A great unique cobalt blue top bordering decoration of a curving worm like line and blue around both handles. A wonderful example of Virginia stoneware dating from the mid 1800\'s, this rare James River ovoid crockwould make a great addition to anyone\'s collection. If you have any questions please email.
