Measures approx. 2-3/4\" across and 2\" high, of gilt cast brass with a blue porcelain-on-brass insert. The only marking is \"28\" on the attaching loop. I have searched through O\'Donnell & Campbell\'s G-R-E-A-T 1996 reference book \"AMERICAN MILITARY BELT PLATES\" but could not find this exact buckle. The closest is plate #1013 on p.603, which I have reproduced here. My buckle is all original, complete and in excellent condition with NO damage or problems. I have not attempted to remove the porcelain insert, as the end of the screw appears to be peened over.I willcombine shipping whenever possible, and normally will ship worldwide within one day of eceiving payment.
