800 Silver & Enamel Compact

This is a wonderful antique 800 silver compact. It has a beautiful guilloche enamel outdoor scene on the front, featuring a beautiful lady. The inside has a mirror. The interior is gold washed. The back and sides of the case have a nice carved Art Nouveau design.

This compact does not come with a powder puff. The gold wash on the inside has some surface spots/tarnish. There are no monograms or inscriptions. It measures 3-1/3\" x 2-7/8\" inches and weighs 119 grams.

This compact is marked \"800\" along with a swan. It is almost certainly Italian or German in origin.
