This unusual, vintage camphor glass lavalier necklace features an oval camphor glass stone inset with another oval camphor glass stone, which is surrounded by an oval, black glass ring. The center of the smaller camphor glass has the traditional silver square setting that holds the sparkling rhinestone. Other components of this intricate necklace: bezel-set round clear rhinestones, all of which sparkle, bezel-set baguette black stones, fine milligrain settings for the bezel-set stones, a small filigree setting which is prong-set with a square black stone, peanut chain, and a filigree clasp. The clasp is stamped "STER" and the back of the lavaliere is stamped "STERLING PS CO." This pretty camphor glass necklace is most likely from the Edwardian period. Condition: Excellent! Approximate measurements: The camphor glass lavalier is 7/8" wide by 1 3/16" high measured from the tiny loop on top of the setting; 11/16" from that top loop to the bottom of the filigree setting; chain measures 16" around - Payment must be made within two days of close of sale or risk losing item.
