Antique Art Deco Flapper\'s Roaring 20\'s
Dance / Compact Purse
A fabulous compact purse used to hold cosmetic necessities .
The handle on the top was held when dancing , open the top and you have a mirror,
and opening for rouge or powder .
The cylinder shaped area lined in fabric is used for cash , pins and tiny things .
The bottom is decorated with black tassel and when looking under the tassel
I found an area with a tiny cylinder that I think once held lipstick ( see pic. # 12 ).
The top is beautifully embellished with sparkling clear rhinestones .
The cylinder with lid measures approx. 4.5\" long by about 2.5\" in diameter.
Measuring the top handle with tassel is approx. 11.5\" tall.
In very nice condition showing only light , normal wear .
All rhinestones are sparkling and intact.
The satin lining has a few tears that is to be expected with age.
Overall in great condition when considering the age.
