This jade comes from a single owner Springfield, Massachusetts estate. This hardstone was collected pre 1988, we will be listing archaic to 20thcentury jades over the next coming weeks from this collection. We will be representing over 150 jades from this estate!
Description : A Chinese Qing Dynasty carved white and green jade amulet depicting a cicada. You can see the finely incised details of the cicada shell showing definition within the cicada\'s wing.This carving is super smooth and feels wonderful in the hand.
Size : 2\" x 1 1/4\"
Age : Qing Dynasty
Condition : Left eye socket area was broken and professionally repaired may years ago! There is a horizontal line running through the figure but it is anatural fissure. We are unsure of the scientific name of the hardstone but are guaranteeing it to be a hardstone.
