I will be selling a small collection of 18th Century 800 silver compacts, lipsticks and such. Here is a 3\" X 2 1/4\" compact in very good condition. It is marked 800 very small in the center of the base of the compact with another imprint beside it...not sure what the other imprint means but I assume it is the makers symbol. I do not see any enamel loss and the engraving in the silver is gorgeous! It does have it\'s original screen for the powder as seen in the photos.
