In excellent condition with a beautiful, scenic painted oval plaque on the top with four putti and a lamb. The plaque is surrounded by cobalt enamel sprinkled with gold and the engraved, decorated box is made of 800 silver with a gold wash. The interior is brightly gilded. Box measurements are 3” long, 2 ¼” maximum depth at the clasp, 5/8” maximum depth and a weight of 96 grams. Probably dates to before 1900. We are always listing an unusual variety of quality items.
