Exceptional French Louis Philippe period long pendant Earrings, approx. 15 mm wide, 60 mm total length, (2 1/4\"), with elongated kite-shaped drops with white and navy blue enamel
The small 6mm circular domed tops have Dormeuses hinged front-fastening fittings and have a tiny blue mosaic like motif with navy border. The long drops have an openwork scrolled Rococo border with engraved flowers to the centre delineated by a cloisonne enamel border.
Hallmarked with the French Eagle\'s Head for 18ct Gold and heraldic style maker\'s marks.
Approx. weight 3.3 grams so very light with a large flat area typical of Earrings worn circa 1830.
Very good undamaged condition - minute enamel loss to the upper fittings.
Sophisticated evening style and obviously authentic antique French in appearance. Nicole Kidman was wearing some of similar period at the 2013 Oscars as shown in final photo!!
