I am selling an exceptional pair of antique earrings. They are typical but rare examples of the Georgian taste, little tassles of fresh water pearls and gold leaves suspended from a dome of gold filigree. I have not cleaned them, they came to me as bright as they are in the photographs. They are not marked as is to be expected- they are difficult to acid test because they are so delicate but I have done so and can guarentee that they are at least 14 carat- perhaps higher. They may be as early as the late 18th century and probably originate from Italy. Each measures 3.3 cm in length and the combined weight is 3.6g. The wires look original and they are easy to wear and look fantastic worn. I am selling many interesting and beautiful items this week, including a quantity of jewellery.
