Beautiful Georgian portrait pendant, most likely dates to 1770s,judging by the hair and fashion, which changed quickly in Georgian times.Finely hand-painted portrait of a young lady wearing a blue dress and with plumes in her hair.Possibly given as a love token from husband or parents.All complete and in very good condition.The metal is silver, thickly plated with 14ct gold.Original bevelledglass to the front.Size: the pendant is approx 1.9\"(4.8cm) long including the bow decoration at the top,by 1.4\"(3.6cm) wide at the widest point.Weight: 16 grams (without the ribbon).I\'ve added a new ribbon necklace to go with it,but it can be removed if not required.Gorgeous and rare piece.
