This one is an interesting rare antique Georgian solid sterling silver Albert pocket watch seal fob, pendant or charm depicting A Wheat Bushel as its seal.
Unmarked sterling silver. Does bear a mark to the top loop ..but too difficult to read.
The fob is a pleasing shape and beautifully made – a really good example of early workmanship. It would look stunning on an antique silver charm bracelet or chain or antique pocket watch chain or could be used as a seal for your letters.
A great addition to any antique seal collection. Do not miss this rare treasure that dates to the Georgian period...circa 1800s.
Weighs in at a healthy 5.6 grams approx.
Measurements: 1 inch high by just over ¾ inch by 5/8 inch approx.
Condition: In good antique condition with a pleasant tactile solidity that has only been emphasised by its rich patina and the passage of many moons.
Just a tiny bit of light general wear you would expect on a treasure of this age. A lovely rare piece with an interesting subject matter for the serious seal collector.
