<img target=\"_blank\"><img Georgian silver closed back pink paste riviere necklace. The gorgeous pastes are foil backed and reflect light beautifully in shades of pink with peach flashes. I believe the foil is gold in colour to produce the peach tones, and the stones are a pale pink with a richer flush of pink colour through the middle which gives them more depth and interest than a plain colour. The variation is subtle but clearly visible and emulates pink topaz beautifully.
It is unmarked but it has tested as sterling silver. The oval pastes are 13mm by 10mm and they are all secure in rub-over silver closed back settings. The necklace is a choker length of 14.25 inches. It is secured with a push in clasp which also has a matching paste stone so that it looks like an unbroken chain of gems when worn. A truly beautiful necklace in excellent condition.
It\'s been virtually impossible to picture this to its credit, it\'s richer in colour to the eye than to the camera, and the camera doesn\'t pick up the peach tones.
