This is an old antique vintage marked with a blue crown and a possible F below porcelain figure from a high end estate. I am not positive of who the mark is for. It could be Dresden. Other companies like Sitzendorf, Dressel ad Kister, and Capodimonte made these figurines. It is 8\" by 6 1/2\" high by 4 1/2\" deep. It features a hand painted lady on a sofa reading a book and she has applied blue violets and yellow roses on her ornate lace skirt. The detail on the hand painting and intricate lace is amazing. I studied the lace an all I could find missing is a section on the neck back that is 1/4\" wide horizontal and tapers 1/8\" wide horizontal at top and is 1/4\" vertical. It weigh 2 1/2 pounds. The estate sale folks had this lace chip sitting with the figurine and they thought it was the piece. I don\'t think it is the piece but I will also add it as you may wish to put it there. They had other lace figurines in the cabinet which I did not buy and I think this chip belonged to one of those. Thanks for looking.
