Antique Thorens movement \"More\" jewelry box as marked on bottom. Piece is very heavy (almost 4 pounds) and is made of cast gold color metal with a butterscotch color stone or plastic top. We are not sure of the exact material used for the top, but comparable listings indicate that it is likely Bakelite. Exact age is unknown but this matches styles from the 1930s or 1940s.
Measures approximately 7 1/2\" by 5 1/2\" and is 4\" high.
Music does not always play when lid is opened and currently does not wind any further (may need repair). Metal and top in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. A few circle marks visible on the top when viewed closely. Top appears slightly crooked when closed.
