Description: A well-potted, cylindrical form with eased shoulder and applied lug handle. Front features a Slip-Trailed design of a Left-Facing Pheasant with long tail and spotted body perched on stylized tree stump flanked by shrubs. The decoration artistically-executed in the boldest, dark-blue Cobalt. Desirable and quite charming with tremendous Folk Art appeal. Gray, Salt-Glazed exterior; Albany Slip interior.

Condition: Very Good to Excellent with strong color and highly sought-after decoration. There\'s shallow flake on the spout near the upper handle terminal, and a 3/8\"dia. hole on reverse at base (see photos). Three stack marks on the shoulder and an interior stone ping (visible on exterior) to the left of the decoration. The base has expected wear and some shallow chips along the perimeter, as shown; protective green felt has been added at some point. No cracks, repaired damage or other excuses.
