A molded Red Wing Fruit Jar, Union Stoneware Co., Minnesota, early-1900\'s. This is a 1-Quart capacity featuring a creamy zinc glaze and bold, crisp graphics. Retains original threaded lid with milk glass insert. Base is inscribed: PAT  JAN / 24  1899.

Condition: A shallow base chip (rear, see close-up, photo #10); otherwise Excellent. Inherent glaze, mold and firing anomalies noted for descriptive accuracy. The zinc lid has some soiling on the surface and has not been cleaned; the glass insert is clean and undamaged.
