An exceptionally fine example of a hard-to-findAustro-Hungarian late-WWI field cap. This example has a “K” on the front for Kaiser Karl who succeeded FranzJoseph as the last Hapsburg emperor. Theexterior of the cap is in near perfect condition very minor moth damage. The silk liner is mostly all there, but istorn and in a fragile state. The visor is a late war ersatz type made of a leathersubstitute.
