This is an authentic \'Senior\' school cane almost exactly as you would have seenusedon the backsides of naughty boys and girls in schools before 1975. It is stifferthan our standard senior cane andtherefore offers a more vicious and painful experience if ever used. Ideal forthose wanting a \'professional\' type of implement that will be used as intended!
Thiswould leave red wheals with long lasting painful sting if used as it was intended.(note that this is soldaccording to rules - see below)
This is new and unused. Madefrom natural Kooboo (Rattan) cane (with the outer skin still on) and lacquered in a hard durable gloss finish. All canes are finished in hygienicclear melamine and can be wiped clean
All joints - Rattan Canegrows in about 300mm shoots and looks slightly \"telescopic\" with the new growthemerging from were the previous growth stopped. These joints or \"knuckles\" aresmoothed and the tip is rounded sothere less chance of surface injury! (seepicture). No two cane look exactly the same
Dimensions: 815mm (32\") longx 11mm diameter (allmeasurements are approximate to within a few mm).
Length is from top ofcrook handle to tip of shaft making the effective length from where it would beheld around 28\" which was within the regulation length for canes used instate schools (30\" max).Long canes can be difficult to wield and aim.
Ideal for fun with thosegames like \"forfeits\" or \"trivial pursuits\" or card game like \"naughtyPoker\" as a conversation piece over social gatherings or simply experimenting with friends!.

***NOTE*** Currently theMalaysian Government has placed a ban on the export of cane to the UK because ofthe decline in the export of cane furniture. They think we in the UK are makingcane furniture instead of buying from Malaysia but they haven\'t considered thefact that cane furniture is out of fashion at the moment. All cane beingimported now carries a higher price which, I am sorry to say has to be passed on.
