In 1908, a Bohemian inventor,Alois Tomiska, applied the double-action cocking and firing system of therevolver to the automatic pistol, producing “Little Tom”. This gun was produced in 6 .35 mm and 7 .65mm calibers. Apart from the firing lockit was a Browning copy. The weapon wassafe for carrying in the pocket and upon drawing it, a straight through pull onthe trigger would raise the hammer and then drop it in order to fire. Thereafter the functioning would continue inthe normal fashion for automatic pistols, the recoil of the slide leaving thehammer cocked after each shot. This veryattractive toy cap gun features a non-working thumb safety, plus front and rearsights.
All of the guns we sell have a permanent orange tip and someother markings that make them look like toys, not real guns. The orange tips cannot be removed.
