Beautiful WW2 German K-98 Bayonet. This is the most serialized bayonet I have ever seen (see pictures 6,7,8) . The Scabbard throat matches the scabbard and blade with the number 2471. The bayonet lug, both grips, flash guard and hilt all have the number 9775 with R.F and multiple WaA253. As for the scabbard it has some small dents by the serial number as seen in photo # 6 but other than that is dent free and retains about 95 % of its original bluing. The blade has never been sharpened and retains 98 % of its bluing. If you have ANY questions or comments please feel free to ask.

This was a question sent to me, i am posting in case any of you have the same one((Hi, In picture #1 is that a scratch or a brake, Does the bayonet have the factory bluing on the blade or has it been sharpen and is every tight as it should be ?))Answer ((f you are referring the the white mark on the scabbard down by the ball it was a baby powder mark. I use baby powder to help bring out the serial numbers so they are easier to read. The bayonet has NEVER been sharpened and everything is very tight. no wiggling or rattling any where))
