BLACKDUCK DECOYS - MATCHED PAIR DELAWARE RIVER - STICK-UPS RICK BROWN - BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ This is a beautiful pair of half size Blackduck decoys, \"stick-ups,\" by Rick Brown, Brick Township, NJ. They are hand carved in the traditional Delaware River style from air-dried Jersey White Cedar with superb paint, detailed bills, raised primaries, fluted wings and tails and high quality glass eyes. Each decoy measures approximately 12\" in length, 3” in width, with the over all dimensions being about 16\" in length and 11\" in height. Rick was the founder and owner of Barnegat Bay Decoys which he started on the old Wildfowler Decoy Company site in the 70s. Though the company closed its doors more than two decades ago, Rick continues to hand carve the competition quality decoys that have earned him hundreds of ribbons for more than a quarter of a century. His decoys are highly collectible and very much sought after. This is a beautiful half size pair of Blackducks and some of his finest work!
