c1910 EXCEPTIONAL PAIR ANTIQUE WMF ART NOUVEAU SILVER PLATED URN VASES
Description:
A very fine pair ofantique early 20th Century Art Nouveau period silver plate urn shaped vases, made by the famous German metal ware manufacturer WMF.
Each vase is similarly decorated in raised relief with a mask to eachside surrounded by scrolling foliate forms and acanthus leaves, and a vacantoval cartouche inbetween, standing on four acanthus leaf pad feet.
The underside of one foot to each vase is stamped for WMF, a mark in use circa 1910.

Condition:
Both in very good antique condition, without damage or restoration. One vase shows almost no wear to the silver plate, the other shows light wear to the silver plate in the more prominent places. Please see the images provided which complement this description.
