This sale is for the 17-18\" version of the beautiful composition babydoll that Natalie Wood finds under the Christmas Tree in the classic Movie \" Miracle on 34th Street\" with jointed head , legs and arms. Her compo has no crazing peeling or lifting and she has only very minimal crazing and paint rubs.She has painted molded hair, open mouth and working sleep eyes.
She Is wearing her ALL ORIGINAL Complete Outfit including pink organdy Dress and bonnet, her full slip and underwear and her rayon socks and oil cloth booties. The outfit has never been laundered, is clean and crispy and has no tears, or age spots. The socks and shoes, however, do have some age deterioration with holes, especially on the bottom of feet but not very noticeable on display. The Dress closes in back with little brass safety pins and the Bonnet has its original ribbon ties.
Very beautiful display, just in time for Christmas under your tree!Photo props and other dolls are not included unless so stated.The dolls I am selling are 60 - 100 years old. Some have been loved and protected and some, not so much.In most cases I have no knowledge of their history, if they have been altered in any way, or if they are in original condition. If I do have such information, I will state it in the description.Please keep in mind that they are in used, not restored, condition although they may have replaced wigs or paint touch-ups or have been re-strung if needed. Being old and used, you can expect that they will usually have minimal crazing and some paint mars, rubs and irregularities. If you have any specific area of interest or concern, please ask questions before offerding. I will also provide more photos upon request if there is an area you would like to see in more detail. Also be aware that lighting, cameras and computer monitors can effect color appearance to some extent. I can\'t describe every little imperfection in detail. I will definitely mention any major issues such as composition lifting, peeling or cracking, missing or broken digits and parts, glazed eyes, matted hair, etc. The same goes for their clothes. They are usually as old as the dolls and sometimes have typical issues related to their age like frays, age yellowing, tiny spots, missing fasteners, etc. Any other type of major damage, I will describe in detail. I urge you to use the magnifier to examine pictures closely. I really try to describe accurately but it is always possible that I might miss something. If you have any questions please ask.
