This is an antique DEMMLER BROS. tin, hingeside, oil wick, miners face lamp. It is2 in. tall (!!!), and the base diameter is 1 9/16”.It has MONONGAHELA VALLEY DEMMLER BROS. PITTSBURGH, PA. with a star below in a shield. Condition isexcellent—it appears to me not to have ever been used. I have not tried to pry open the top, as itappears to fit snug.
