Here\'s a rare early 1880s blob top James Dascombe applied blob top beer bottle from Denver, Colorado....

JAMES DASCOMBE DENVER COL (bold emb on front) THIS BOTTLE IS NEVER SOLD McC (bold emb on back)....Hand blown in mold, bimal....applied blob top....aqua....9 1/4\"tall....Good condition with only a 1/2\" hard to see flash/bruise in top of lip; a tiny potstone on inside surface only of the glass; No other damage. A dug bottle that has been lightly pro cleaned to remove some light haze. Some light surface wear remains and a small scratch on back. James Dascombe bottled beer and ale, along with soda. He is listed at 554 Larimer in Denver from 1882-1885. I\'ve not seen another Dascombe blob beer bottle
