This is an beautiful violin made by a Canadian violin-maker
afteran Italian Maggini violin. It has the characteristic double
purfling which is a hallmark of Maggini\'s work. It is in excellent
condition.There are absolutely no cracks, no problems of any
kind.It is not only a stunningly beautiful instrument visually
with a beautiful stunning flamed maple back. I\'ve included
many large photos below...and you can see and hear this
violin being played in the video posted in the description.

This instrument has the look of some of the violins fromshops
such as Scott Cao or Samuel Shen Zhang Shu Mei,, Ben Feng,
etc.for example who early on imported violins to the U.S. Shops and
American makers often did the final finishing work on violins from these
makers...and this could easily be one of those imports. Look the pictures
over and listen to the sound sample. I can\'t guarantee who made this
instrument, but its a great opportunity to get a nicer Chinese violin.
CONDITION:This is an exceptional violin in excellent condition. If is free
of any cracks. No sound post cracks, no cracks to the neck
orscroll...andno open seams.This violin is probably late
20th century and has just the veryminordings and wear that
againcomes from beinglovingly played and enjoyed. It is an
estate instrumentand I alwaysrecommend with avintageor
antique instrument that in timeyou consider having itsetup to
conform to your personal tastesand playing style. As an
estate sale, a used violin...assuch, it may benefit from having
new strings, peg adjustment, a new bridge, etc. It is clearly
playable as you can hear in the video sound sample. I have
