The doll is both beaded and having fringe, on buckskin, terminated in hand furled cones. The body is a sort of burlap canvas type material, old and rugged. She wears a gold ball necklace and she has smiling facial features in bead work. Her hair is human hair, and most likely hair from the child the doll was made for, as the hair is definitely infant hair. An exceptional addition to even the most discriminating of collectors of Native Americana. My hopes for her is to find a good home where she will be preserved all Native American posterity.
