This Favila Baritone Uke is 29 2/4\" long and 10 3/8\" wide, wirh 19\" scale length. The string to fretclearance at the octave fret is 1/8\" or less on all four strings. Neck is very secure. The finish is crazed over the whole instrument, but at least 98% all there. There are two cracks in the back that were securely but somewhat sloppilyfixed with bottled hide glue, probably 30 to 40 years ago. There are some minimal scatch marks that appear on the front and back of the body. Other than the cracks, there doesn\'t appear to have been any structural damage anywhere. The tuners work as they should. The instrument is easy to tune and and it stays in tune for a long time.

If you so desire, askilled luthier will be able to clean up all of the cosmetic boo boos while maintaining the exquisite patina that has developed over the decades.

This uke plays and sounds great! This instrument is just a fantastic example of the Old World craftsmanship that is hard to find in the new ukuleles avalable nowadays.
