~~~Exquisite Georgian mourning hair picture brooch of a couple walking in the garden of a stately home, the trees are made from chopped mourning hair and the figures and house are finely painted in great detail in sepia. The details are quite amazing.
Frame is unmarked but will test gold and has been converted from a bracelet clasp to a brooch a long time ago.
Imagemeasures just over 1& 1/4\" long.
The tip of the pin is bent otherwise it is in very good antique condition.Any light marks are reflections
