I play mandolin and classical guitar. I bought this violin, case and accessories a couple of years ago hoping to learn, but never found the time. I had recently listed this and the high buyer never paid because he didn\'t like \'s global shipping charges. Hence, I am re-listing it. This is a great old violin with very nice (and brand new) accessories.
I took this to a luthier in Portland and he said the date seems accurate. He didn\'t see any problems with it except that I didn\'t have the bridge location right. I play enough to know that this is a nice playing, loud violin.
