We have on offer thisGeorgian 9 carat roseygoldring with apainted memento mori skull miniature under crystal glass c 1780\'s. Thering is unmarked but has been tested for minimum 9 carat gold. Thepainted miniature looks to be watercolour on natural wafer under quartz crystal convex glass. Theface of the ringmeasures approx. 29.4mm by 17.5mm or 1 1/8\'\' by 5/8\'\'. The weight is5.8 grams. The UK size is O 1/2 and US size is 7 1/4. Box shown is just for photo.

Condition: the back shows some white solder( possibly from early repair),some small splits and mark from testing( please see photos). The front of the ring is in good antique condition.
