DESCRIPTION: This sale is for a spectacularly beautiful German enamel on 935 sterling guilloche compact with hand painted purple and pink clematis. The clematis flowers and leaves are hand painted on an ivory background; the rest of the compact is a pale green. The pink clematis flower really glows! The interior is gold-washed and looks like there isn’t any wear at all. The enamel is in excellent condition with very, very few very light scratches and no repairs. There are no dents or dings. I don’t find any marks on this compact other than the 935 silver content on the bottom. Approximate measurements are 2-11/16 inches wide, 2 inches deep, and 3/4 inch tall.
