We have up for sale a wonderful piece of pottery made by Shawnee Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. Founded in 1937 in in the area already famous for pottery manufacturing, Shawnee produced everything from aquarium ornaments, baking dishes, cookie jars to planters before they went out of business in 1961. The teapot measures 6 inches tall, about 9 inches long and 5 1/2 inches wide. This teapot has the same tulip pattern as Smiley the Pig cookie jar. Marked on bottom, \"USA\".
