Hercules Model E - 1 1/2 HP Everything is original , paint is original too. Wonderful compression. I also have a video of it running as well.
Model E- During 1915, the Hercules line was streamlined to include an attractive water hopper design along with fancy red striping over the green enamel finish. (Which is original). Hercules BuggyCo. Reorganized in 1912 as the Hercules Gas Engine Co. Although details are unknown, Sears Roebuck & Co, began marketing their own nearly identical economy enginne by 1915. Whatever the corporate arrangement, the Economy and Hercules were marketed simultaneously until Sears dropped the economy line in the late 1920\'s.
The engine I own is a 1 1/2 hp built in 1920. Everything is original. I have the original oiler, but the glass is cracked. The Paint is original as well. It has great compression and it runs like a dream!
This has to be local pick-up only because of the weight factor and being thrown around in a mail truck, you don\'t want any cracks because its in perfect condition now.
